Vinten developed its Versine range after observing camera operators working at golf, cycling and arena productions. The research focused on repeated setup, handling, visibility and cable problems that are easy to miss in a laboratory specification.
The Versine 360 is aimed at fixed positions using camera systems without large box lenses. It uses a multi-standard base, increased payload capacity, an all-metal construction, managed cable paths, illuminated controls and an adjustable operating arm.
The Versine 240 targets roaming work where lower weight and faster relocation matter. Together the models separate two operating patterns instead of asking one head to cover every sports position with the same compromises.
Vinten says real-world testing informed the finished design, but the report does not publish payload ranges, drag curves, environmental ratings, weight, pricing or availability. Those values are necessary to compare the heads with existing OB inventory and camera packages. Compatibility with existing pedestals, tripods and transport cases will also affect fleet adoption.
