V-Nova is using Brazil's DTV+ deployment to argue that MPEG-5 LCEVC support can spread through globally reused silicon, television and set-top-box platforms. LCEVC enhances base codecs including AVC, HEVC, AV1 and VVC rather than replacing each codec outright.

For live production, the company will demonstrate SMPTE VC-6 with swXtch.io so multiple AI models can request selected frames, resolutions or regions from one structured stream. Related work includes Ground SwXtch links for ST 2110 between facilities and cloud, a DAZN-led delta-streaming accelerator and NVIDIA NeMo Curator workflows.

The third strand uses PresenZ for six-degree-of-freedom pre-rendered experiences. ImmersiX is available on Apple Vision Pro and is planned for Meta Horizon, with NVIDIA CloudXR and Graphics Delivery Network moving rendering to cloud GPUs.

The announcement combines deployments and demonstrations, so maturity differs across each strand. Global LCEVC device support, live-AI efficiency, cloud-XR latency, service cost and third-party interoperability still need measured evidence.
