Chyron and TrackVision demonstrated a wireless real-time virtual-production workflow at IBC2026. A dedicated protocol sends camera and lens metadata into Chyron VSAR without requiring physical positional markers around the set.

The feed includes X, Y and Z position, roll, tilt, zoom, focus, lens distortion, focal distance and frame-accurate timecode. TVU Networks supplied the low-latency wireless transport used in the demonstration.

Removing markers can shorten setup and free camera movement in augmented-reality or virtual-set productions. The demonstration also connected green screen, lighting, prompting, jib and LED technologies, and showed a remote-presenter teleportation workflow.

The companies have not published accuracy, drift, delay, range or failure-recovery measurements. Broadcasters should validate occlusion, lens calibration, frame synchronisation and recovery after wireless loss before using the system for on-air composites.
