Richmond AFL is adding Vizrt’s Viz Libero Teams to its coaching and content-production workflow. The platform converts match footage into three-dimensional analysis clips that can be used by coaches, players and digital teams.
Vizrt says the system includes more than 70 tools covering measurements, defensive lines, zones and 3D camera flights. It can run on a laptop, on premises or in the cloud, giving the club options for work at training, in a facility or through remote infrastructure.
The notable workflow change is reuse. Tactical annotation created for performance review can also become a short-form explanation or highlight for supporters. That can reduce duplication between analysts and content producers, although the two groups still require different approval, confidentiality and publishing rules.
The announcement confirms the software and intended dual use. It does not describe source-feed ingest, tracking accuracy, turnaround time, rights controls, player-data handling, collaboration limits or how private coaching material is separated from publishable assets.
