TAG Video Systems is developing TAG Blue, a cloud platform for sharing operational visibility between companies participating in the same media delivery chain. The design addresses a common live-service problem: each organization can monitor its own section, but troubleshooting slows when nobody can see the full route.
TAG Blue uses existing TAG technology at common workflow points, so the company says no new instrumentation is required. Telemetry is correlated across the authorized path, and an AI layer proposes a potential root cause and next steps. Operators can also ask an embedded large language model what happened instead of manually correlating multiple logs.
For live sport, the proposed model could allow a production company and its downstream takers to view the same incident from venue to platform while retaining control of what each party shares. If implemented with clear tenancy and permissions, that could reduce the phone-based fault isolation that often follows a cross-organizational outage.
TAG Blue remains in development. TAG expects design partners before the end of 2026, but has not announced general availability, pricing, data-isolation details or independent accuracy measurements for the AI analysis. The root-cause output should therefore be treated as decision support until operational evidence proves otherwise.
