Pixotope Technologies has announced a unified commercial and software platform for its virtual-production portfolio. Release 26.3, scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, replaces separate feature purchases with three editions.
Discovery is a free, feature-limited HD version for learning and evaluation. Core includes virtual studio, augmented reality, chroma keying, design seats and camera tracking. Max adds XR and videowall tools, redundancy, IP video and advanced compositing for larger operations.
The release brings Pixotope Zone sports tracking onto Windows and into the same interface as the rest of the platform. It also adds HTML graphics rendering and control, including OGraf, alongside integration through OpenTrackIO and an open API and SDK.
The consolidation can make it easier for teams to expand from one virtual-production task into another without re-licensing individual modules. Release timing, precise hardware requirements and the production maturity of OGraf integration still need confirmation when 26.3 ships.
