OWC has previewed a coordinated update across the Jellyfish shared-storage stack. Jellyfish Connect 4 adds dynamic port detection, access across multiple networks, simultaneous connections to more than one Jellyfish system and Active Directory login for Mac and Windows workstations. The goal is to reduce setup and reconnection work when editors move between facilities or productions.
Jellyfish Manager 3.2 adds cloud-media restore, air-gapped updates, support for larger Active Directory environments, configurable SMTP and revised integrations with DaVinci Resolve and MASV. Media Manager 3.2 receives a rebuilt architecture and can preview or organise formats including ProRes RAW, Immersive BRAW, Sony, Nikon and RED RAW. DPX and EXR sequences gain in-browser previews, while batch tagging and direct handoff to desktop applications reduce tool switching.
For high-bandwidth ingest and playback, OWC is pairing ATTO SmartNIC and ThunderLink hardware with the platform, including a custom-cooled dual-25GbE adapter in Jellyfish Nomad. Manager 3.2 and the Nomad SMB improvements are generally available, while Connect 4 and Media Manager 3.2 are planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. Real-world throughput, client-count scaling and upgrade requirements have not yet been published in comparable benchmark form.
