Danish broadcast rental company Minitech has purchased a LeaderPhabrix LPX500 waveform monitor and Leader LT4670 sync pulse generator for a medium-sized outside-broadcast unit. Both systems are now being used in daily workflows.
The LPX500 contains four independent analysers and can display four 12G-SDI inputs alongside two 100GbE IP inputs. The LT4670 supplies PTP, GNSS, IP, 12G-SDI, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, analogue sync, AES/EBU, word clock and LTC outputs, giving the truck a common reference layer across baseband and packet-based signals.
The purchase is a practical example of why hybrid test and timing equipment remains relevant during the ST 2110 transition: rental fleets must accept jobs built around both SDI and IP. The announcement confirms the equipment and intended use, but does not describe the complete signal architecture or the IP standards licensed on Minitech's units.
