Mediaproxy will launch Monwall Web at IBC2026, bringing its software-defined multiviewer into a browser interface with interactive mosaics, audio-output monitoring and the ability to rewind live layouts. Delivery options include Low-Latency HLS and the emerging Media over QUIC protocol.
The company is also extending LogServer with AI tools for live monitoring, automated checks, alerting, event detection and quality-of-experience analysis. Mediaproxy has joined the open-source MXL project and plans to integrate its ultra-low-latency in-memory transport into software-defined workflows.
Why it matters
Remote monitoring often trades latency and interactivity for easier access through firewalls. Supporting MoQ and LL-HLS in a browser multiviewer gives operators different latency and scale profiles, while rewind can help investigate an incident without leaving the live mosaic.
The announcement does not quantify glass-to-glass latency, browser scale or the accuracy of AI checks. Compliance teams should retain deterministic rules and human escalation until the new detection features have been measured against known errors and false alarms.
