Manfrotto has expanded its ONE platform with a tripod designed specifically for professional video and introduced the 502X fluid head. The products launched on 2 September and will be shown publicly at IBC2026.
The ONE Video tripod combines fast deployment, integrated levelling and greater torsional rigidity than a general hybrid support. Compatibility with the XCHANGE system allows a mounted camera package to move between tripods, sliders and other supported devices.
The 502X joins Manfrotto's Bridging Technology line and is designed for smooth, controlled pan and tilt moves across documentary, interview, commercial and live-event work. It will be sold separately and in complete support kits.
Mechanical support rarely attracts the attention given to cameras, but faster repeatable setup can materially affect small crews and changing locations. Payload limits, counterbalance range, pricing and shipping dates were not included in the report and remain important purchasing details.
