Fujifilm is expanding the GFX ETERNA 55 production system with a dedicated electronic viewfinder and a remote-control application. VF-GFXC2 uses a 2048 by 1536 OLED panel in a native 4:3 shape, allowing the complete open-gate image to be displayed without cropping.
The viewfinder is rated at 1,000 nits and one-times magnification. Its display behaviour adjusts with screen brightness, while a large eyecup and aluminium cylindrical body target field operation. Release is expected before the end of 2026, but pricing is not yet available.
ETERNA ProRemote runs on iOS and iPadOS and connects through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or wired LAN. A simple Bluetooth mode controls up to four cameras without live view; advanced modes add live monitoring and full focus, iris and zoom control for one or four cameras. Tally is visible in every mode.
Advanced views include waveform, vectorscope and histogram alongside frame rate, shutter, ISO, ND, iris and colour data. The published information does not quantify video latency, network bandwidth or behaviour when a four-camera wireless link is congested, so those limits still require field testing.
