Brainstorm has launched Engram, a browser-based asset and workflow platform designed specifically for broadcast graphics. Its interfaces are tailored to journalists, editors, designers, production operators and administrators working across one or more sites.
Work orders connect editorial requests with the people creating and checking a graphic. Rights management, quality control, version history and sign-off follow the asset through production instead of living in separate email, chat and storage systems.
Engram integrates with Brainstorm eStudio, Aston, InfinitySet and Edison, allowing the same request and approval path to cover anything from a lower third to an augmented-reality sequence. That can make ownership and air-readiness easier to audit during breaking news or sports.
The announcement does not publish API coverage, third-party renderer support, migration tooling or availability details. Facilities should verify how Engram handles newsroom identities, storage permissions, naming conventions and recovery when a graphics engine or site is offline.
