Emergent will demonstrate an end-to-end browser-based production platform at IBC2026. Its product family covers media and data management, AI-assisted HTML5 and WebGPU graphics, playout control, master-control tickers, virtual environments, interactive storytelling and automated social output.

Nova and Nova GFX handle data, media and template creation; Pulsar products cover graphics and master-control automation; Pulsar VS combines Unreal Engine with WebGPU for virtual production; and Flux manages inputs and outputs including SDI, NDI, SRT, ST 2110 and HTML. MOS and NLE plugins connect the graphics workflow to newsrooms and edit systems.

Why it matters

A shared browser technology layer could reduce proprietary rendering dependencies and let more workflow components run on standard hardware across on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployments. The breadth of protocol and newsroom integration is more important than AI prompting alone.

The claims come from the vendor ahead of its first standalone IBC exhibit. Broadcasters still need evidence on deterministic playout, frame accuracy, redundancy, browser-version control, GPU requirements and the limits of its integrations with existing automation systems.
