Eluvio has announced an expanded Global Broadcast Fabric built on its Content Fabric protocol. The architecture is designed to receive a live feed once and serve broadcast and consumer endpoints without creating a separate media copy for each receiver.
The company says the platform delivers sub-500ms global latency with sub-millisecond jitter and decentralised SMPTE ST 2022-7 multipath synchronisation. New Live Stream Manager tools expose routing, health, statistics and batch configuration through APIs, while zero-copy recording supports DVR and instant replay.
Ingest options include JPEG XS and AVC or HEVC over UDP, RTP and SRT. Outputs can target B2B SRT or transport streams as well as consumer HLS and DASH, with encryption, rights controls and multi-DRM built into the same fabric.
The technical significance is the attempt to collapse contribution, affiliate distribution, OTT packaging and personalised rendering into one operational plane. Performance, cost and scale figures remain vendor claims until independently benchmarked across representative production networks, and the announced AV1 support is still described as upcoming.
