Anton/Bauer previewed a DIONIC B-Mount battery family that can operate at 14.4 or 28.8 volts. The dual-voltage design allows one battery platform to serve conventional camera accessories and higher-draw cinema cameras or lighting fixtures.
The packs are rated for up to 20 amps of continuous output and will be offered in 90Wh and 290Wh capacities, with the range described across three models. A battery-management system monitors operation, while internal isolation is intended to improve protection around high-current loads.
USB-C and P-Tap connections provide accessory power. The 90Wh model is sized within the usual IATA hand-luggage energy threshold, which makes it the practical travel option compared with larger-capacity packs that require different handling.
Published specifications do not establish cycle life, charging time or output derating at temperature extremes, although the stated operating range is minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius. Rental companies should test charger compatibility, voltage switching and sustained peak loads with their exact equipment.
