DaCaPo has presented a workflow-management approach that treats a Digital Cinema Package as an ongoing project. Existing packages can be imported, then extended and tracked as original versions and version files rather than rebuilt as unrelated exports.
The platform covers KDM and DKDM key handling, quality control, playback and verification. It also supports accessibility material including open and closed captions, hearing-impaired and visually impaired narration, and SMPTE RDD 52 workflows.
This model is useful when one feature accumulates language, territory, censorship, audio and accessibility variants over time. Keeping component relationships visible can reduce duplicated media and make it clearer which assets and encryption keys belong to each delivery.
The report does not describe storage architecture, audit retention, supported cinema servers or how security keys are protected. Dolby Atmos support is mentioned, but detailed validation and interoperability results are not provided.
