Creamsource has introduced C3, a 3,000W full-colour LED fixture designed from the outset as a Fresnel. The lens remains fixed while the light engine moves internally to change the beam from 18 to 60 degrees, controlled locally or through DMX.
A seven-colour blue, cyan, green, lime, amber, red and deep-red engine is managed by Creamsource's colour system. The company claims coverage of more than 92 per cent of Rec. 2020, alongside 10,000 lux at ten metres in full spot and 1,500 lux in full flood. Liquid cooling and thermal management address the heat generated at full power.
The integrated power supply and IP65 enclosure target outdoor and high-output studio work. LNX mechanical hardware can join square-fronted fixtures into arrays, while a web interface, FrameSync and high-speed shooting support extend control beyond a conventional lamphead.
The photometric, gamut and thermal figures are manufacturer claims and have not been independently measured. Orders open in November 2026, with first shipments expected in the second quarter of 2027, leaving time for specifications and production dates to change.
