Chyron has announced PAINT 10.5, adding an AI-assisted method for moving between synchronised replay camera angles. The new CamWarp workflow is designed to replace a hard cut with a generated virtual camera move while preserving the spatial context of sports analysis.
An operator selects a stored multi-angle clip, chooses the transition point and specifies the starting and target views. PAINT then creates a separate playable clip, leaving the original replay untouched. Existing graphical elements remain aligned as the viewpoint changes so the sequence can continue into telestration or playout.
CamWarp also exposes a player-segmentation editor. Operators can correct masks or add missed players before generation, which is important when athletes are distant, occluded or overlapping. An optional motion-blur control can soften artefacts in the resulting move.
The workflow keeps a human review step inside the replay tool rather than treating generated output as ready for air. Chyron has not published processing time, supported camera geometry or quality metrics, so the practicality of the feature for fast live-turnaround use will depend on the production and the cleanliness of its calibrated views.
