Camera Corps will launch the Q4K at IBC2026 as a compact UHD camera for positions where a conventional broadcast camera is too large or difficult to operate. Intended uses include commentary booths, robotic heads, stadium rafters and point-of-view coverage.
The standard model uses a 1/1.8-inch 8.4-megapixel Sony sensor and records UHD at up to 60 frames per second. Outputs span 12G, 6G, 3G and HD-SDI, while high dynamic range support is based on HLG Rec.2100. Multi-matrix primary controls are intended to help match it to larger system cameras.
An enhanced CCU adds remotely controlled low-noise microphone preamps and a 24-bit stereo audio embedder for 12G-SDI. An optional SMPTE ST 2110 module provides an IP path into remote and distributed production systems.
The combination is technically useful because speciality cameras often lag main cameras in resolution, HDR and network integration. Camera Corps says Q4K has already been used at sporting events, but it has not named those deployments or published measured low-light, latency or environmental performance.
