Skyline Communications and Bridge Technologies are connecting the VB440 production probe with the DataMiner platform to demonstrate an automated response to audio-video synchronization errors. Rather than stopping at an alarm, the combined workflow is designed to measure a problem, apply decision logic and trigger a corrective action.
The VB440 supplies signal-level measurement intelligence, while DataMiner aggregates that data and orchestrates the surrounding multi-vendor workflow. The companies say the IBC demonstration will focus on AV synchronization and will sit alongside a new generation of purpose-built DataMiner applications for specific operational teams.
Closed-loop remediation matters in IP and distributed production because timing faults can cross multiple systems and may be difficult to isolate while a programme is live. Connecting deterministic measurement to automation can shorten response time, reduce repetitive operator intervention and create an auditable workflow for recurring faults.
The announcement describes a demonstration rather than a named generally available product package. It does not specify the supported correction devices, tolerance thresholds, guardrails against oscillating changes or the time required to detect and repair a fault.
