Beam Dynamics has announced License Intelligence, a new module that puts software licences, support agreements and renewal dates into the same platform as physical production assets. Users can record costs, owners, suppliers and locations, set alerts and link each agreement to the systems it covers.
The module also tracks software versions, security patches and known vulnerabilities. Connecting those records to equipment and facilities is intended to show which operational systems are exposed when a contract lapses or a version falls behind.
Broadcast infrastructure is increasingly software-defined, but licence administration often remains split across spreadsheets and vendor portals. A joined asset and entitlement view could make renewal and patch risk visible to engineering and finance at the same time. The announcement does not name vulnerability-data sources, supported vendor integrations or customers using the new module.
