Atomos has announced two HDR displays for different parts of the production chain. The 19-inch Shogun AV-19M is a rack-mount 4K DCI-P3 touchscreen that can monitor NDI HX3, 12G-SDI and HDMI sources in one unit.
The monitor can display one NDI source full screen or four sources in a quad layout. It includes waveform, focus, exposure and false-colour tools, with optional flypack packaging for mobile productions. Atomos expects availability in October at a suggested price of $1,899 or €1,899 before local taxes.
Shinobi 7 II is a seven-inch, 2,800-nit monitor with USB-C control of aperture, shutter, ISO and white balance on supported cameras. It accepts HDMI up to 4K30, supports Log, HLG, PQ and 3D LUT monitoring, and can be calibrated on the device with a compatible probe.
The announcement does not specify full NDI codec and network requirements, SDI raster support, panel contrast or measured colour accuracy. Camera-control compatibility for Shinobi also varies by model, so buyers need the final support lists rather than assuming universal control.
