AJA has released software version 1.20.3 for the BRIDGE LIVE SDI family. The update combines workflow additions with security-related maintenance and is recommended by AJA for supported systems.
The release adds NDI HDR signalling and 10-bit support, a configurable H.264 Gradual Decoder Refresh mode intended for low-latency operation, and a new monitoring dashboard. It also adds SMPTE ST 2022-7 redundancy and integrates SRT version 1.5.6.
Technical significance
ST 2022-7 is particularly relevant when compressed and uncompressed IP paths must survive a network failure without a visible interruption. Updated SRT support also matters because contribution appliances often remain deployed for years and protocol-library vulnerabilities can turn a media endpoint into an infrastructure risk.
