Actus Digital, now part of LiveU, has announced a new generation of its Actus X monitoring platform. The release retains compliance logging, technical QA, clip creation and media intelligence while rebuilding the underlying system for more dynamic configuration, greater scale and more efficient cloud use.
The most visible change is a browser-based multiviewer in which each user can create layouts around selected channels, alerts and technical data. Actus says the interface operates with sub-second latency and lets users listen to live audio, rewind monitored content and investigate alarms without moving to a separate workstation.
Actus X will also present different workspaces for engineers, technical operators, compliance teams, production staff and media-intelligence users. That role-based approach can reduce screen clutter and make distributed monitoring more practical, but the security and permission model behind remote access will be important in real deployments.
The company is also planning native support for LiveU Reliable Transport. Direct LRT ingest could remove a protocol-conversion gateway between field contribution and monitoring, preserving the bonded transport path and reducing delay. The integration is currently described as roadmap work, and Actus has not provided availability, migration or measured cloud-efficiency figures.
