Studer has introduced VistaVUE Touch, a broadcast console that combines tactile controls with configurable touch displays for audio, video and control functions. The surface is intended to adapt its layout to different operators and production types.
Spatial IQ visualises sports microphone placement and coverage, while MAGNUM-OS provides remote management and control. The product reflects a wider shift toward surfaces that can expose software-defined functions without removing the physical interaction mixers rely on during live work.
Why it matters
Audio desks must serve more formats, remote contributors and immersive outputs without overwhelming operators. Flexible views can reduce clutter, while retaining dedicated controls for timing-critical moves and muscle memory.
