Saramonic has shown a set of production-audio devices at IBC2026 covering wireless microphones, timecode and intercom. The K9 XTX plug-on transmitter records 32-bit-float audio internally while transmitting through the company’s K9 UHF system.
The TC-NEO timecode unit can synchronise as many as 48 devices from an app and ships with a charging case. Saramonic Ultra records 32-bit float to USB-C storage and adds timecode and weather resistance.
For crew communication, the modular WiTalk9 X base supports as many as 64 headsets. The system uses 1.9GHz spectrum, offers helmet-ready endpoints and quotes 400 metres of range, extendable to 600 metres, with AI noise reduction.
The demonstrations establish the feature set, not RF performance in a congested venue. Productions should test spectrum coordination, headset density, recording/transmit clock alignment, timecode drift and recovery when app or base connectivity is interrupted.
