Odisha Television Network has replaced legacy video-processing hardware with Quortex software for its on-premises broadcast network. The regional Indian broadcaster is now using the virtualised Digital Content Manager for encoding, multiplexing and scrambling.
Quortex Video Service Manager provides central configuration and control across the distribution workflow. That separates processing functions from dedicated appliances while keeping the operational stack on premises, offering an incremental route toward IP rather than requiring an immediate move to public cloud.
The deployment also includes 24-hour support from Quortex's Global Network Operations Center in Bangalore. Its scope covers proactive maintenance and incident management across the Quortex platform and third-party components, which makes the operational service part of the system design rather than a separate support contract.
The system is confirmed live, but neither company has published channel counts, codec profiles, redundancy topology, migration downtime or before-and-after operating data. The claimed efficiency and scale benefits therefore remain customer and vendor assessments rather than independently quantified results.
