AI-Media demonstrated LEXI Link at IBC2026 as a companion experience for live sports and events. A viewer scans a QR code or opens a URL, selects a language and receives live captions, translated text or AI-generated multilingual audio on a phone, tablet or computer.

The proof of concept associates outputs from compatible LEXI encoders and services with a viewer-facing link. It is designed to work in a browser without a dedicated app, allowing each person to choose a language instead of forcing one translated mix or caption track onto the main programme feed.

Personal delivery can extend accessibility and localisation without multiplying every broadcast output. It also separates language audio from the room or television, making headphones and second-screen synchronisation part of the production design.

AI-Media explicitly describes LEXI Link as technology in development. The company has not published measured end-to-end delay, drift, concurrency limits or fallback behaviour. Broadcasters should test lip sync, QR-code access, data residency, network congestion and a conventional caption or audio fallback.
