Lawo has released mc² software 12.4 with real-time analysis, touch-optimised pop-up controls and new integration functions. The update adds sample delay and expands the information available directly to an operator working on a console surface.
Integration changes include lives@HOME connectivity, Ember+ control and authenticated API keys. Those capabilities allow orchestration and remote-production systems to control defined functions without relying on an unauthenticated local interface.
Lawo also previewed version 12.6 with dynamic resource assignments and a browser-based mxGUI. Together, the releases point toward console resources that can be allocated more flexibly between physical surfaces, remote operators and software clients.
The announcement does not provide a detailed API permission model, supported-browser list or migration matrix for every mc² surface. Facilities should test automation, snapshots, control-system authentication and audio continuity before moving a production environment to the new version.
