iWedia has launched Teatro Factory, a managed framework for creating, validating, deploying and operating digital-TV devices. It targets operators managing fragmented set-top-box, smart-TV and Android-TV fleets across several hardware and software generations.
Teatro Cx covers CI/CD, code and test automation, documentation, traceability and operational dashboards. Teatro Test Lab combines software-in-the-loop validation using Android Cuttlefish with hardware-in-the-loop regression and stability testing. Teatro Pulse adds telemetry, remote diagnostics, application management, analytics and over-the-air updates for deployed devices.
Why it matters
Connected-TV quality depends on the full lifecycle, not only the launcher or middleware delivered at initial release. Feeding device telemetry back into validation can expose regressions earlier and make staged rollouts safer across a mixed installed base.
iWedia describes a service and operating model rather than a single fixed product. Operators will need to examine integration with existing build systems, device-management security, rollback controls, supported chipsets and the limits of remote diagnostics before adoption.
