Deity has presented the D4RX at IBC 2026 as an upcoming four-channel true-diversity receiver for its THEOS wireless system. The slot-format unit carries power and four discrete audio channels through one connection, with interchangeable rear interfaces for different production setups.
The receiver covers 550–960 MHz through Deity's Global OneBand design, adds front-end filtering and encrypted digital decoding, and supports four-channel AES3 output. Deity lists compatibility with sound-bag slot docks and Panasonic AJ-CX, AJ-PX and earlier HPX ENG cameras.
D4RX can remotely change frequency, gain and RF power on paired transmitters and control their internal 32-bit-float recorders. That centralises adjustments that would otherwise require access to talent-worn transmitters, while the wide tuning range reduces the need to maintain separate receiver bands for different regions.
The product remains marked coming soon. Deity has not published pricing, a firm shipping date, regional certification details or independent RF-performance measurements. Production teams will also need to verify rear-interface compatibility and encrypted workflow behaviour with their exact cameras and recorders.
