Clear-Com has announced major updates for Arcadia and Eclipse HX that focus on user identity, resource assignment and scale. EHX version 15 introduces ARC concepts that let teams manage roles, resources and configuration more independently of physical endpoints.
Clear-Com lists up to 424 registered and 255 simultaneously online wireless beltpacks in supported Eclipse HX designs. Arcadia gains expanded IFB and AES67 functions, addressing mixed local, networked and remote audio workflows.
Why it matters
Separating an operator identity from a specific port makes large events easier to reconfigure as people move between positions. Higher registered-device counts also matter when a system serves multiple studios or rotating production teams.
What still needs checking
Maximum scale depends on the complete matrix, wireless infrastructure and license configuration. Existing systems should be checked for upgrade paths and endpoint compatibility before scheduling migration.
