BBC Studios and UKTV have selected Full Season for managed media services covering 53 linear channels and their related video-on-demand outputs. The contract is multi-year and supports distribution in the UK and international markets.
The operational scope includes content preparation, playout, VoD processing and delivery to multiple collection points. That makes the agreement a combined linear and on-demand service rather than a narrow master-control contract.
The scale is technically notable because channel reliability has to be maintained while different brands, schedules, regional versions and non-linear packages are prepared and delivered. A common provider may simplify hand-offs, but it also concentrates the need for resilient infrastructure and audited disaster-recovery procedures.
The announcement does not set out the migration timetable, underlying architecture, service-level commitments, regional channel list or transition milestones. The agreement is confirmed, while detailed operational performance will only become clear as services move into production.
