Azam TV has upgraded an outside-broadcast vehicle with a Lawo IP audio system centred on the HOME management platform. The installation combines a 32-fader mc²36 MkII production console, A__stage80 and A__stage48 stageboxes, and an A__digital64 Audio-over-IP gateway.
HOME discovers and manages the connected resources while supporting third-party equipment across SMPTE ST 2110, AES67 and RAVENNA networks. Microphones and commentary sources can be connected near their point of origin and converted to IP streams for routing through the truck, reducing long analogue cable runs and making the I/O layout easier to adapt between productions.
The A__digital64 keeps legacy AES3 equipment available inside the new networked architecture. That is an important migration detail: the project does not require Azam TV to discard every existing device in order to gain central discovery, routing and management.
Broadcast Solutions handled planning and implementation. The deployment is confirmed, but the parties have not published the truck's network topology, redundancy scheme, total channel capacity or operational measurements. Those details would show how the system behaves during link or device failures and how much setup time it actually saves.
