AgileTV and Friend MTS have completed a pre-integration between the AgileTV content delivery network and Friend MTS server-side watermarking. The work is aimed at live sports and premium entertainment services where a pirated stream must be identified and acted on while the event still has value.
Friend MTS supplies the watermarking backend, while the AgileTV CDN delivers selected content as individualized A/B streaming sequences. Session tokens determine the sequence presented to each subscriber, allowing monitoring systems to trace a captured pirate stream back to the account from which it originated.
When combined with Friend MTS piracy monitoring, operators can configure rules to disable an identified source in real time. Pre-integrating the CDN portion reduces the custom work required at deployment, although headend, business-logic and subscriber-management connections still depend on the operator's architecture.
The companies confirm that the technical integration is complete and will demonstrate it at IBC2026. They do not publish detection time, watermark robustness under transcoding, false-attribution rates or the exact quality impact. Operators must also apply due process and account-security controls before automating subscriber action.
