Accedo and MediaKind have introduced an end-to-end streaming solution aimed at operators that want a branded multi-platform service without building separate applications and backend components. The package combines Accedo's native application framework with MediaKind's MK.IO Platform for Operators.
Accedo provides applications and cloud-based management across Android set-top boxes, iOS, Android mobile, Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, Samsung smart TVs and the web. MK.IO supplies entitlements, content management and discovery, security and video delivery. Branding, experience and service configuration can be changed without maintaining an entirely independent app stack for each device family.
The companies cite Cogeco's EPICO service as a production deployment and say another operator has committed to launch. That evidence distinguishes the 2026 package from a show-only integration and gives prospective operators a reference for a complete application-to-delivery chain.
The announcement does not disclose deployment time, supported concurrency, regional cloud design, service-level commitments or total cost. It also does not identify the second operator. Buyers will need to verify how much customization remains upgrade-safe and which operational responsibilities sit with Accedo, MediaKind or the customer.
