We Are Falcon has launched Falcon Graphics, a free HTML graphics editor aimed at production teams using Falcon Play, CasparCG or other compatible HTML playout systems. The company describes it as the fifth product in its expanding broadcast software family and says the first public release is available as a beta.
The editor is browser based, but the company says working files remain on the user's own desktop. That approach gives operators the convenience of a web interface without requiring every graphics project to be stored in a remote service. It also makes the tool easier to introduce in facilities where template files already move through established local storage and versioning workflows.
OGraph support is the central technical point. We Are Falcon says values created in a Falcon Graphics template can be exposed for control through the standard, allowing a playout application to update text, images and other template parameters at transmission time. The editor also supports live data from a URL or API, which opens the door to scoreboards, election graphics, financial data, weather and other continuously updated visual elements.
The release is positioned as an accessible authoring companion for Falcon Play, while remaining useful for general CasparCG installations. Previewing is built into the workflow so designers and operators can check changes without repeatedly moving files into a separate production environment. Because the product is still in beta, We Are Falcon is actively asking users to report unexpected behaviour.
For smaller broadcasters, the interesting part is the combination of a free editor and standards-based control. HTML graphics systems are flexible, but the authoring layer can become a barrier when every template needs bespoke front-end work. Falcon Graphics is intended to narrow that gap by turning common template creation and data binding into a visual, browser-led process.
