VIDA has introduced QC Manager, a workflow layer for managing technical and editorial quality-control feedback inside its cloud-native media asset management system. Each check, comment, status change and approval remains linked to the affected asset.
The module provides structured issue logging, timestamped comments, shared review workflows for internal and external participants, and approval tracking. The intent is to replace spreadsheets, email threads and disconnected review tools with an auditable record that follows media from ingest through delivery.
Keeping QC metadata beside rights, descriptive metadata and delivery status can reduce ambiguity about whether the latest master has been reviewed. The announcement describes collaborative control rather than automated signal analysis; it does not list integrations with file-based QC engines, supported annotation formats, security boundaries or customer deployments.
