Israeli television and internet operator HOT Telecommunications has licensed SubtitleNEXT for Hebrew subtitle creation and quality control. The deployment places a dedicated timed-text platform inside the operator's content workflow rather than relying on separate authoring and review tools.
SubtitleNEXT supports multiple subtitle formats and collaborative work between subtitlers. HOT's technical content-operations team says implementation is complete and the software is in use, making this a customer deployment rather than a future demonstration.
For Hebrew work, right-to-left text, reading order, punctuation and screen positioning add operational requirements beyond simple transcription. A structured QC platform can help teams check timing, formatting and consistency before material reaches linear, VOD or catch-up services.
The announcement does not identify the supported Hebrew style rules, number of seats, automation level, integration with HOT's media systems or measured error reduction. It also does not state whether AI transcription or translation functions are active in this deployment.
