Gravity Media has deployed the core IP production infrastructure for Lifted Entertainment's I'm A Celebrity... The Wild Frontier in Whistler, British Columbia. The installation supports 64 cameras across a remote mountain location and was mobilised on a compressed schedule after the project was awarded earlier in 2026. Gravity is also supplying engineering expertise and operational support from its international teams.
The technical centre is diPloy, Gravity Media's Belgium-based, proprietary IP production environment. The company describes the system as a rapidly commissioned broadcast platform that can scale while a production's requirements evolve. That makes the deployment relevant beyond this programme: fixed-rig reality formats combine many persistent camera feeds with difficult access, long operating periods and a need to change coverage without rebuilding the whole control layer.
Moving cameras, materials and personnel through the mountain environment was part of the engineering problem, not just logistics around it. Separating the reusable IP core from the physical location can reduce how much conventional facility infrastructure must be constructed on site. However, Gravity's announcement does not say whether production control or media processing is centralised elsewhere, nor does it disclose the contribution links, codecs, network topology, camera models, recording architecture or redundancy scheme.
The confirmed result is therefore a 64-camera deployment built around diPloy, not a published reference design. There are no measured latency, bandwidth, availability or failover figures, and the company does not identify which operations remain local in Whistler. Those details will determine how repeatable the model is for other remote productions. The project nevertheless demonstrates that a modular IP environment can be deployed at the scale of a flagship unscripted format in terrain where a conventional broadcast build would be especially demanding.
