FOR-A has expanded viztrick AiDi from a single product name into an AI technology family developed with Nippon TV. Go Vertical! AiDi targets real-time 9:16 output, while AiDi Sports Hub groups tools intended to add context and graphical information to live sports.
The vertical system is positioned for sport, news, conferences, red carpets and entertainment where a mobile feed must be derived from a conventional programme. Processing takes place on the device, which is intended to keep response time predictable during live production.
FOR-A says further Sports Hub capabilities under development include 2.5D and 3D graphics, ball-trajectory visualisation, sensor-based golf tracking and AI-assisted programme automation. Those roadmap items are not all shipping functions.
The technical value is a clearer separation between reframing and sports-analysis workloads while keeping them close to the live signal. Accuracy, operator override behaviour and supported input and output formats need to be assessed in production rather than inferred from the announcement.
