QScan has added direct Frame.io integration to its automated media-quality platform. Users can connect an account, read available files and start a QC job without first downloading and re-uploading the asset through a separate transfer workflow.
The resulting report can be examined in the QScan player. That keeps technical findings close to the source asset and may shorten the path between collaborative review, automated checks and a corrected delivery.
Three comparison modes address different problems: parameter comparison for technical metadata, local visual comparison in the operator interface and server-side visual comparison. QScan also presented a more flexible interface with filtering intended to help users focus on relevant errors.
The demonstration does not establish transfer security, API limits or the treatment of Frame.io versions and proxies. Teams should test authentication expiry, large-file behaviour, result traceability and whether comparison tolerances match their delivery specifications.
