Boris FX is using IBC2026 to group several machine-learning assisted visual-effects and audio-restoration functions into a production-focused demonstration. The visual tools include Point Track ML, Object Detection, Head Track ML and Face ML, plus Deinterface ML and Denoise ML for image repair.
The company emphasises local processing, which can matter when production footage cannot be uploaded to an external model provider. The tools are designed to accelerate selections and tracking while leaving artists in control of the resulting masks, tracks and corrections.
On the audio side, iZotope RX 12 adds Scene Rebalance, Stems View and De-bleed functions aimed at separating and repairing dialogue, ambience and overlapping sources. Together, the announcements position AI as a workstation-level assistant across picture and sound rather than a separate cloud service.
Boris FX has not published comparative accuracy or processing-speed data for the complete line-up. Exact availability and licensing vary by product, and difficult footage or contaminated recordings will still require operator judgement and manual finishing.
