Adobe has announced a group of video updates spanning Premiere, Firefly and Frame.io. Premiere gains a new Color Mode in beta, intended to make common grading operations more direct inside the edit application.
Firefly Video Editor adds access to models including Kling 3.0 and Omni, while Frame.io Drive extends desktop access to shared project media. Adobe is positioning the pieces as one path from generated or acquired material through review and finishing.
Why it matters
Editors increasingly combine conventional footage, generated elements and remote collaboration in the same project. Reducing transfers between tools can speed iteration, but provenance and approval need to remain clear when synthetic material enters a production.
What still needs checking
Some functions are beta or depend on separate model and service terms. Teams should verify usage rights, data handling, generation cost and project compatibility.
