Host Broadcast Services covered 104 FIFA World Cup matches across 16 venues in Canada, Mexico and the United States, delivering every game in UHD HDR and generating close to 9,000 hours of content. Venue teams remained local while replay, graphics, camera shading and audio mixing were centralized at the Dallas International Broadcast Center.

The Extended Stadium Feed travelled uncompressed in UHD over SMPTE ST 2110. With roughly 45 cameras at each stadium and 100Gb capacity on each redundant transport path, additional signals used JPEG XS at about 10:1 compression and sub-frame latency.

JPEG XS also supported return feeds for commentary, remote camera shading and the link from Dallas to the non-live production hub in London. That let compressed and uncompressed streams coexist according to bandwidth and latency needs rather than forcing one transport choice across the entire chain.

The account does not publish per-venue failure statistics, exact latency, network-provider design, PTP architecture, bitrate allocation or independent picture-quality measurements. It is also associated with a JPEG XS technology supplier, so the broader operational conclusions require corroboration.
