Rock in Rio 2026 used four Clear-Com Arcadia Central Station systems to coordinate event and broadcast teams across multiple stages. The deployment supported about 50 FreeSpeak II and FreeSpeak Icon wireless beltpacks for mobile production staff.
E1 and IP-connected FreeSpeak transceivers extended coverage across the festival’s working areas. Savana Comunicação supported the system locally, while the Arcadia cores provided the central connection point for the mixed wireless estate.
The design also reached beyond the venue. Arcadia connected over Dante on a dedicated network to TV Globo, where Clear-Com Eclipse matrix infrastructure joined the festival communications environment to the broadcaster. Multishow carried the performances live.
The case confirms equipment counts and the Dante/Eclipse integration, but does not publish RF-cell density, roaming behaviour, network redundancy, latency or channel assignments. Those operational measurements would be needed to compare the design with other large festival deployments.
