QuickLink will demonstrate 4K support for StudioCall and StudioEdge at IBC 2026. StudioCall is described as supporting native 4K at 60 frames per second, with StudioEdge handling 4K SDI and NDI workflows for remote contributors.
The company is also using NVIDIA processing to upscale sources that arrive below UHD resolution. The stated targets include Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls as well as HD camera feeds, which could let a mixed-source production maintain a consistent UHD output format.
Why it matters
Remote contribution rarely arrives in a single resolution or transport format, so combining call acquisition, physical video I/O and normalization can simplify an UHD production chain. The announcement does not yet establish shipping dates, pricing, supported NDI profile, added latency or the visual limits of its upscaling under real network conditions.
