Promptergo has introduced a self-contained Speech Console that combines the prompting computer and operator controller in one unit. Scripts can be loaded using a QR code or USB storage, then controlled from a touchscreen and a jog knob with its own display.
The appliance provides an HD HDMI output and is designed to work with most existing teleprompter displays. A splitter can feed multiple prompts, while a two-console arrangement with an HDMI switcher provides a main and backup path for productions where script output cannot be allowed to fail.
Consolidating the prompting chain can reduce setup time and the number of devices an operator must configure. The redundancy option is particularly relevant to conferences, studios and live events because it keeps a second fully prepared controller available rather than relying only on a spare display.
The announcement confirms the workflow but not the full resilience design. Boot time, failover procedure, supported script formats, remote-control interfaces, accessibility features and pricing were not detailed and should be evaluated before replacing an established prompting system.
