NetOn.Live has outlined an expanded LiveOS platform for IBC2026, with more than 40 production applications available through its software-defined environment. New workflow tools include a Template Designer and Panel Builder for creating repeatable configurations and operator interfaces.
The company is also demonstrating integration with Avid MediaCentral and NEXIS for growing-file workflows, OGraf graphics support and super-slow-motion capabilities. The additions span ingest, switching, replay, graphics and control rather than focusing on a single production function.
Why it matters
Reusable templates can reduce the engineering effort needed to deploy software-defined production for recurring shows. A visual panel builder also gives operators a focused control surface instead of exposing the entire underlying system. The risk is that custom panels hide dependencies or become difficult to support when applications change.
OGraf support is notable because an open graphics specification can make templates less dependent on one renderer. Growing-file integration with Avid is important for fast-turnaround editing, where material must become available before recording is complete.
What remains open
NetOn.Live has not published detailed performance figures for every combination of the 40-plus applications. Facilities should validate resource scheduling, timing, failover and version compatibility for the exact template they plan to operate.
