LiveU has become a Clarus Integrated Reseller and introduced Hybrid Data, a managed connectivity plan that combines cellular service and Starlink broadband for field production. The service is planned for LU300S, LU800 and LU900Q units in the United States and United Kingdom, with LiveU providing one invoice and support route for both network types.
LiveU Reliable Transport can bond cellular, Starlink and other IP connections into one contribution stream. LiveU IQ separately monitors network conditions and selects cellular operators according to local performance. Packaging satellite broadband alongside the existing cellular workflow is intended to make Starlink a regular path in the bond, rather than a separately purchased emergency connection.
The technical benefit is path diversity with fewer commercial and support boundaries for the field crew. A congested stadium, rural location or local outage may affect terrestrial carriers and satellite differently, giving the bonding algorithm more independent capacity to work with. The announcement confirms product compatibility and initial territories, but it does not state data allowances, service prices, supported Starlink terminals, coverage restrictions or measured contribution performance under path changes.
